With Lettr we all still love sending a real postcard
Don’t you just feel like a young kid waiting to unwrap his Christmas presents to find out what’s inside when you see there’s a postcard laying on your doormat waiting for you to be discovered? Without doubt it beats finding bills, tax notifications and especially the postal advertisement from your local shop.
I like sending cards while I am abroad, but especially love receiving a card from a friend abroad while I am at home. However, the sending part is always a but tricky for the person having to sort it out in the other country – Where do they sell the stamps? How long do I have to stand in line at the local post office? Where can I even buy a card nowadays?
Together with the company Lettr, who thought of a solution for sending messages abroad, I can giveaway 9 free postcards for my readers! That way you can find out how handy this new online service is. Lettr is a website where you can send a card digitally from your computer to let your beloved receive the card on their doormat you created! Upload a photo you would like to use for the front, share your story on the back, add your location on a little map the card shows and sign it with your digital signature.
It gets better. If you don’t know the address of your friend, you can just connect with Facebook or their e-mail address and Lettr will send a message asking for their postal address. So basically you don’t even have to know your friend’s address and the postcard will still be delivered at the right place.
Let’s give it a try. Sending a real postcard online.
First-come, first-served. You only need to leave a comment and the first nine persons will get that free Lettr card giveaway. What are you waiting for?

About Renate Rigters
Ever since I left my home country I felt at home at any other place I went to. I enjoy getting to know more cultures by talking to strangers and hearing their philosophy about life. Speaking with gestures when you can not find a shared language, finding places only the locals go to and learn about their customs and values. Hanging out with local people makes me happy. The experience of every new place is a step out of your comfort zone where I like to wander around until it feels like a second home.
