Cheap train travels in the Netherlands
Are you traveling in the Netherlands? You’re probably going to use the Dutch railways, if you’re not already doing so. I used to take the train to my university every day and I still enjoy a train ride now and then. The only things is… It’s quite expensive. However, for a couple of weeks you can travel very cheap through the entire Dutch country!
What is going on? What do you mean I can travel cheaper with the train? Well, from August 25 to October 5, 2014 you can travel with the trains of NS, Arriva, Breng, Connexxion, Syntus and Veolia (basically all the Dutch trains) for only €14,95 a day. Get yourself a day ticket at the store called “Blokker” and you’ll be able to train-travel the entire day in the entire country for just a small fare paid upfront at the store.
You need to check-in at the train station where you begin you journey and after that check-out at your destination. You can continue to do so the entire day with just one ticket!
You can find the train ticket right here if you prefer to buy it online. It is also available in the store, however it might be more relaxed to reserve a ticket by buying it online rather than encountering yourself at a store where they just ran out of tickets.
