Express yourself and support India
October has started and that means that I have been walking around with my colorful leather Chakra bag for a few months already. It’s about time I share the story of this lovely shoulder bag.
As you all might know I am in Greece, in the sunny island of Karpathos. This is the place where I carry my Chakra bag around my shoulder. I always enjoy expressing myself with clothes and accessorizes. Not in bling-bling, but in colorful locally produced materials. I had a bag from El Salvador that had its best days and started looking for something new. That’s when I learned about Chakra bags.

Fair trade
The bag I currently carry around was made with love in a little atelier in India. Created by a local’s hand with camel leather.

Note: the size of the bag is 4 x 25 x 20, it has two compartments with a zipper and you can adjust the leather band so you can carry the bag at the length you prefer.

Speaking with gestures when you can not find a shared language, finding places only the locals go to and learn about their customs and values. Hanging out with local people makes me happy.
