How to brew coffee with an Italian Moka Pot [video]

Ever seen an Italian Moka Pot? It’s a coffee maker that produces coffee by pushing boiling water through ground coffee and it taste very good if you ask me! Since some Dutch people asked me how the Moka Pot works while I was in Italy I decided to make a little video. Enjoy the video and just in case it goes to quick I also placed a description of how to brew the coffee. For any more questions, please don’t hesitate to ask me in the comments below 🙂
How you make coffee with an Italian Moka Pot in steps
- Fill up the base chamber with water, but make sure to leave some space for the coffee filter to still fit on top.
- Fill up the filter completely with the espresso ground coffee
- Screw the two chambers tightly together.
- Put the Moka Pot on the stove and wait for it to start boiling.
- When it starts making noise of boiling you take it of the stove and wait for it to fill with delicious coffee.
- Afterwards rinse the pot with water and let it dry so that you can use it again 🙂
