Sshhhh…

Last week verkeersbureaus.info sent me to Sweden for the Outdoor Academy in Dalarna and we had a pretty awesome time there. Everybody had a lot of fun and we saw so many things of the region.
But… there are always some stories that you would prefer to keep inside the academy.

Fortunately for you, I decided to share a few of those stories, but you need to help me out with my puzzle of who belongs to which story.

Here are my top 10 stories we could not tell from #oas 2013!

#10 the stuffed moose

Someone maybe got a bit jealous, did she not? It seemed like this lady just could not stand it anymore that everybody was giving a lot of attention to our little friend Elky. Elky is a stuffed animal that received a lot of media attention, especially from the British and the Russian girls… So, finally this lady decided to try and axe the moose at the river, but Elky’s fans did not let her get to that ofcourse! I believe there were some photos on Instagram of Elky’s adventures too! Try and find him through hashtag #oas

#9 sneaking up on canoes

There was this one guy who just could not resist on chasing the other canoes while he was in his kayak. He just kept hitting the canoes again and again, trying to make the people fall out of the canoes. I am still not sure if he was Scandinavian, but it most definitely must have been a man. I recall the photographer telling me that he was very photogenic, so there must be a photo of him sneaking up on the other canoes!

#8 snoring at camp

It happens. You go camping, want to listen to the nature sounds at night, but someone is snoring. I fell a sleep quit fast that evening, even with those noisy people and their after party next to our tent, but later that night someone slept a bit too well compared to the others at camp. Or so I have been told.
Who could this be? Or is this just gossip? I cannot say, since I was already a sleep.

#7 ripping your pants

Ooops! Somebody got his fancy pants ripped on the mountain…

That was the Facebook description on the ripped pants photo.
Who had ripped their pants and how did this happen? Did it happen during the hike into the Swedish mountains? Did he spent the night at the camp? Did someone fix his pants?

#6 kiss with snus

Snus use while kissing?! What is snus anyway?
At the bus a colleague of mine explained that snus is tobacco that you can put under your lip and you can use it instead of smoking. Hmmm… I had never heard of that! Did you?

The same colleague told me that he knew a guy who used it a lot – yeah right, I also start the story with “I knew this girl” when I am telling an awkward story which is actually about myself. Anyway, he explained that this guy tried to kiss a girl in a club one time, but he forgot to take the snus out of his mouth and that it got really weird between them. Yeah, that must have been an awkward situation, woops!

#5 fall with a smile

Falling off the bike with a smile is something so amazing that we even have a video of it! So please, watch and enjoy it, and tell me who she was, because I have not got a clue! For your information: this lady fell off her bike, shouted “I am okay” with a big smile and continued the journey. Is that fantastic or fantastic?
Could it have something to do with Elky by the way?

#4 bring in alcohol

Someone was bringing in alcohol on the first night, but the bar was actually closed. How did he pull the trick? After dinner everybody went to bed, or so it seemed… There were 4 persons having an after party at the hotel lobby with some snacks, beers and I’ve heard they even had a bottle of nice wine! The next morning everybody was good to go for the hike, so we could not figure who those persons were.

#3 having a swim before canoeing

Someone got entirely wet before hitting the river. The story goes that someone – I do not know who, but I do know that it is a man – tried to enter his canoe and fell in to the water. That must have been a cold start of the day! He was the only one who fell into the water that day, but I must say that he did a great job! If I had fallen into that cold water I might have stayed close to the warm campfire, but he did not! You rock!

#2 Who ate it all

Eating all the wild blueberries should be a crime! All the way up there were so many blueberries to be found, but the persons in the back of the hike did not find any. Was it one person who ate them all?

#1 sleeping in a circus

Tatatadatadatatatata… we all had to sing the circus song at camp! Why you are wondering? Well, because there was one circus tent in the middle of camp. It looked like a lot fun, with two people standing in this tent with their heads outside. It is still a mystery to some if they actually slept in this circus tent, but… it must have been a great adventure! Seems to me that this was the best camping experience ever, since they had a bigger ‘into the wild’ experience than the others.

There is just one tiny problem now. I just cannot seem to get it figured out which person belongs to which oas story. Do you? Please comment on this post and help me solve this drama!
