Scuba diving is my passion and to be able to be underwater for such a long time I need my scuba equipment. Below you can find an overview of the equipment I use and travel with.
As you are reading this I am writing reviews about the scuba gear I’m using. Have a look again soon to find more details and my personal opinion about these products.

Dive computers
Currently I own 3 dive computers. I have my very first dive computer still as my spare, which is the Cressi Newton dive computer. During my dives I have my Scubapro Galileo Sol as my main dive computer and I wear my Deepblu Cosmiq+ as my backup dive computer on the same arm.
Mask & snorkel
While having owned several kinds of masks I have become a big fan of the frameless masks. Mine is a Tecline classic and my backup mask is a Scubapro frameless mask.
I own a white Scubapro apnea snorkel which is flexible and therefor is easily kept in my BCD pocket.
Fins
My Scubapro Seawing Nova Gorilla fins were my first choice of fins mainly because of the bright orange color, but they are also empowering my fin kicks. Whether flutter or frog kicks.
Wetsuit
When diving in colder water I always use my Fourth Element Proteus2 of 5mm. If the water is more tropical yet too cold to go without suit I use my Waterproof 2.5mm. I have some shorts and vests as well for comfort.

Regulator
I love my Scubapro MK25. I use long hoses and orange colors on my main reg.
BCD
The Scubapro X-one BCD works perfect. Good size pockets, space for weightpockets and not too heavy. The amount of rings is are alright.
Booties
I use the Mares classic boots for my wide feet.

Underwater camera
To be able to take some cool photos and video while diving I use the Canon Coolpix W300, which gives great quality for such a small (pocket-size) camera!

About Renate Rigters
Ever since I left my home country I felt at home at any other place I went to. I enjoy getting to know more cultures by talking to strangers and hearing their philosophy about life. Speaking with gestures when you can not find a shared language, finding places only the locals go to and learn about their customs and values. Hanging out with local people makes me happy. The experience of every new place is a step out of your comfort zone where I like to wander around until it feels like a second home.
