A few years ago I went to Singapore planning to stay for a week. During my stay the volcano in Iceland erupted and my flight back home got cancelled due to the ash cloud. I had to spend some more time in Singapore and believe me, that’s not a punishment.

My flight from Singapore to Amsterdam gets cancelled, so I have a few more days to spend. I take the bus to Malaysia and visit Kuala Lumpur for the first time. Since I am a huge fan of parrots, I have to bring a visit to the KL Bird Park, which is the world largest Free-Flight Walk-In Aviary.
