Travel Gear Review on the GoPro
The GoPro is an adventure camera which suits me well for my journeys. Where electronics could get harmed by water, dirt and wind the GoPro never lets me down.
As a travel blogger, it is important for me to be able to share my adventures in an interesting way. The GoPro helps me to do that.
I can use the GoPro in all kinds of unique situations where a regular camera just would not do the trick.

Want to know what accessorizes I use for my GoPro? Check it out!
I currently have the GoPro Hero3 Black edition surf which I bought at the online store of onderwaterhuis.nl – there they provide good online service and information.
The surf editions comes with built in Wi-Fi, a Wi-Fi remote, plus surf mounts.
The Wi-Fi remote is good since you can attach it with a ring to your jacket or trousers and control the GoPro from a distance or when it is attached to your helmet.
The video resolutions are up to 4K and you can take 12MP photos up to 30 frames per second.
I really love the GoPro app for my iPhone by the way! You can preview real-time content and share photos and videos directly. I have to say I do not use the sharing option, because I want to edit the clips on my computer before sharing, but you could use it like that if you want. I enjoy the preview on the app, because it makes me able to check if the view is correct.
I seriously cannot imagine traveling without the GoPro camera anymore!
How will you GoPro?

Product: GoPro Hero3 Black
Cost: the price of a new GoPro Black is €449, but there are different versions which are cheaper and less complicated such as the Silver or White edition.
Note: I currently own the GoPro Hero3 Black, but you might like to know that I bought some mounts as well to be able to attach the GoPro to, for example, a mountain bike.

About Renate Rigters
Ever since I left my home country I felt at home at any other place I went to. I enjoy getting to know more cultures by talking to strangers and hearing their philosophy about life. Speaking with gestures when you can not find a shared language, finding places only the locals go to and learn about their customs and values. Hanging out with local people makes me happy. The experience of every new place is a step out of your comfort zone where I like to wander around until it feels like a second home.
