Let’s work together

The That Wanderlust travel blog was born on May 1, 2013 due to my big desire to keep on experiencing adventures abroad and share them with the world. Ever since the beginning of That Wanderlust it has become more popular every single day. With a specialty in writing about adventurous traveling in an independent way, local cultures and getting out of your comfort zone with lots of adventure it inspires readers to visit destinations and to use certain travel products.

That Wanderlust has worked with great destinations and inspiring companies which helps both of us to reach our goals. Brands and their services get promoted by giving recommendations after personal experiences. That Wanderlust can wear your clothing brand, test your sunblock, surf your boards, attend your language course, experience a stay at your accommodation, try your tour, fly your airline or write and create photos/videos for your (online)magazine about real adventures.

What people say about working with That Wanderlust

In December 2013, Renate participated with a press trip organized by Toerisme Vlaanderen to the cities Ghent and Bruges. Within this press trip, we offered both journalists and bloggers to experience the Christmas atmosphere in the cities, together with some touristic highlights and the culinary specialties of Flanders. We invited Renate to join us together with other journalists amongst which de Kampioen (ANWB), Het Parool, a blogger from Travel Valley (Dutch travel blog) and Plus Magazine.

Renate easily makes contact with people because of her nice and open personality. She is therefore the perfect company as it comes to group press trips. Furthermore, she speaks multiple languages and knows how to express herself properly in English. Her blog is very professional and her writing is personal, creative and easy to read. Furthermore, her blogs are enriched with great photographs and professional videos that inspire her readers. You can easily count on Renate as a travel blogger, not only because of the quality of her blogs, but also because of her punctuality (she publishes directly after her trip) and professional way of working.”

My name is Daniel Rochefort and I´m the Commercial Manager for the Lake Crossing, one of the most emblematic leisure products in Latin America, with more than 100 years of history and 2.000.000 passengers transported. When Renate contacted me to write a note for our product, I didn’t think twice, I checked her record and I was amazed by her professionalism, writing style and for her knowledge of this industry, knowledge given by the several trips she has made, always presenting each destination in a different way, mixing with the local culture and the most important part, with a smile capable to make you travel anywhere you want. After she visited us in Patagonia, we started to get several requests on our website from different countries where normally our product is not known. We are thankful for her visit, and we hope to have her back soon.”

We had the good fortune to have Renate of That Wanderlust come on a bike tour with us last year here at Biking Buenos Aires. She was a joy to work with from the very first contact. She’s very professional, brought a bright smile and good energy to our tour and wrote us a fabulous piece afterwards that really helped our company profile. We often get travel bloggers that come through but Renate sticks out among the rest because she has kept in touch with us and we still receive people that come from her blog post on us. I would happily recommend Renate of That Wanderlust to any company out there that likes dealing with professional, charismatic, good energy people.”

  1. Hi Renate,

My name is Tom Fish and I am looking to make a documentary series touring Sweden for MUNCHIES, VICE’s food channel. I am looking to find interesting people and places across Sweden to visit, in the process exploring it’s food traditions and culture. We would look to visit in November and December. I understand from your blog that you’ve visited a few times and so wondered if you’d like to share any recommendations- any important places to visit, stand out characters you met etc… Also, are you interested in collaborating for the project and available in November and December.

Here is a link to the series we made on Oaxaca. It will provide an idea of the sort of show we make.

Look forward to hearing from you,

    Tom Fish
