It took us a year to finally find the right place for our Divemaster course. We were in search for an instructor who would be willing to teach and show us everything on how to become a pro. We ended up in la isla bonita – really named Isla Mujeres in Mexico. Having already a great quantity of dives logged and therefore plenty of diving experience we were more than ready to start the Divemaster course.

The last few weeks have been intense while also super relaxed. About two months ago mr. Viking and I set foot on Mexican soil again after having been working our asses off for 6 months in Greece. Now we haven’t quite been sitting still over here either, but without to much pressure. This winter we started our Mexico travels in Playa del Carmen, where we currently are as well. We had however never though of ending up here again after two months, but the island hopping we have been doing in the meanwhile pretty much led us back here. We just spent a week in Tulum visiting the archaeological site of Tulum, snorkeling in Gran Cenote, getting an epic dive experience at The Pit and Cenote Dos Ojos, relaxing at the nearby beach, swimming with big sea turtles at Akumal and on our last day we made a worthwhile trip to the famous Chichen Itza. ...read more!
Over the last few years diving has become my thing. It started in 2006 in Jamaica, where I did a discovery dive, just me and the dive instructor. He took me by the hand and introduced me to the glory of diving. A few years later, in 2014, I walked passed a dive center in Panama and decided to find out why it kept on feeling so appealing to me.
